TWIG Special Coverage – FanEx ’09

TWIG - FanEx09

Hey guys, welcome back to a very special episode of This Week in Geek. We went there for the last two years and we went back again this year. That’s right, we’re talking about Canada Fan Expo 2009. We’re going to bring you all the exclusive coverage of our experiences with the largest convention in Canada and the third largest in North America. Along with our hilarious and brutally honest experiences at the convention we’ll also bring you awesome and exclusive interviews with several big names in the world of geekdom.

Interviews include James Kyson Lee, better known as Ando from NBC’s Heroes; Ethan Van Sciver, an accomplished artist who is currently working on the Flash: Rebirth series for DC Comics; Keith DeCandido, one of the writers of the ongoing Farscape comic book series based on the hit TV show; Max Brooks, son of Mel Brooks and writer of The Zombie Survival Handbook and World War Z; Jim Demonakos of Kirby Krackle, an up and coming geek rock duo from Seattle, Washington who’s song ‘Teabagged’ appears at the end of the episode; Steve Downs, the voice of the Master Chief from Bungee and Microsoft’s video game behemoth Halo; and Robert Duncan McNeil who portrayed Tom Paris in Star Trek: Voyager and is an Supervising Producer on NBC’s hit spy comedy Chuck. So stick around, who knows, you might just hear something cool. Also, feel free to check out our video coverage of the event here.
