The Prototype- Gears of War 4 review / extended thoughts

On this week’s episode of the prototype, a gears noob (Mike) and two members of the COG old guard (Jaime and Cam) find themselves exploring the subterranean Seran depths in search of something, anything bad to say about the Coalitions newest iteration in the Gears of War franchise. Instead, they’ve only found more and more reasons to gush not blood or guts, but evidence on how their expectations concerning the game’s graphics, audio, gameplay, storyline, and multiplayer components have been blown away, like a lobotomizing gnasher shot straight to the dome. Want to know why? Well then take cover from society for a little while and listen in. We promise to have you revving your chainsaws in both rejoice and agreement.
