When there’s something strange in your neighborhood, who you gonna call? GHOSTBUSTERS!! And with those words, we bring you this week’s Fan DVD Commentary of the classic film Ghostbusters. We here at TWiG try not to cross the streams as Steve, Aleida, and Brennon battle the supernatural in this commentary. Now if you listen closely to the commentary you will hear some cracklings of static, normally we would blame that on faulty equipment, but no, we feel that this commentary was haunted. That’s right I said haunted! So BEWARE!

Anywho, of course WE RECOMMEND watching the movie first then watch along with this track. If you would like to purchase the DVD click on our Amazon.com link.

Wow very random and interesting commentary. I want the address to that chocolate place in Grapevine. By the way Brennon, you can do a kick ass H. Jon Benjamin. It may note mean much to you but I think it is awesome!

OMG EDWARD CULLEN!!!! Wow why didn’t you guys do the Twilight commentary? XD Do your own version actually. :P
Awesome commentary and I actually synced it up by around 5 seconds off this time! Also not to be mean but you really did stray from Ghostbusters a fair bit lol. Yo could have focused on it a bit more so maybe if you do GB2 then you could. :)
Still a fantastic commentary and I hope Alieda liked my nicknames and might pick one although I’m kinda frighted if you scream my name like EDWARD CULLEN!!! Christ that’s stuck in my head now. :P

Holy Zuul, you people are obnoxious. Why do all nerds & geeks have to sound lame/phony cool (men) or guffaw nervously too much (women)? I couldn’t get more than 10 min. into it, and this is one of my all-time favorite movies. Oi!

@Dan – We do apologize if you were not a fan of this commentary. Honestly the three of us(Aleida, Brennon and myself) are all good friends and we weren’t trying to sound lame/phony or laugh nervously. These commentaries are meant to not be like a regular commentary you would hear on a DVD Special Features giving facts and trivia, although we try to when we can. This is as if you invited your friends over to watch a movie and just had fun.

I recommend, if you like, to listen to any of the other commentaries that we have, there might be a few you might enjoy.

Thank you for the comment and feedback

I have to agree with Dan. Ghostbusters is probably my favorite movie and this commentary barely references it! I understand that you don’t want the standard DVD commentary about technical aspects and shooting, but there is no facts or trivia, it’s just 3 people hanging out. And you all claim to like the movie, but obviously didn’t do any preparation. (no one even knew the name of the villain) It just didn’t hit the hardcore fans, which is probably the main demographic. I stopped halfway through and probably only made it that far because I was surfing the internet while listening.

@Wheelhouse – I understand and appreciate your feedback sir. Without any negative feedback we can’t improve. So in response to that, each of the commentaries will be more on topic as best as we can. Actually this week’s commentary on 1989’s Batman is very much enjoyable to listen to and we do stick on topic quite a bit.

And as an added promise when we do a Ghostbusters 2 we will take your feedback to heart and make sure that commentary will be better than the Ghostbusters one.

    Thanks again for your feedback!
